From Breaking News to Building Brands

Kyle Scott builds media-first ventures with standout founders and experts. He believes the future of growth is authority-led, and that every company must be a media company grounded in proven expertise.
Kyle currently serves as Senior Vice President of Partnerships, Brand, Community, and Growth Marketing at Luxury Presence, a Series C real estate technology company. He applies a media-first operating model to drive influence, relevance, and demand in support of the company’s growth beyond $100M in annual recurring revenue and its position as the technological leader in real estate—one of the world’s oldest and largest industries.
Previously, Kyle co-founded Sell It with Ryan Serhant, a media and education business that monetized Serhant's sales expertise through a subscription platform of courses, coaching, and community, along with books, speaking, and events. He pitched it pre-revenue and built it from the ground up, leading the company to nearly $10 million in annual revenue, serving more than 26,000 members across 126 countries. As Co-Founder of Sell It and President of SERHANT. Ventures, Kyle owned the full P&L and led every function, growing revenue more than 100% for the first three consecutive years at 50% to 60% net margins.
After proving the model at founder scale, Kyle expanded it as General Manager of High Growth Creators at Thinkific, the leading learning commerce platform through which creators and experts have earned more than $3.7 billion, with 35,000 customers and over 200 million learners. Recruited by the CEO to accelerate growth in Thinkific's top customer segment, he brought the systems-driven playbook he built at SERHANT. Ventures to help the strongest creators and experts scale. His work focused on acquiring high-potential clients, expanding high-value accounts, and turning the platform's top performers into visible advocates.
Kyle began his career at NBC News, where he spent nearly a decade producing across TODAY, NBC Nightly News, NBC News Specials, and NBC News Digital. Juggling live feeds, last-second script changes, and millions of viewers, he learned how narrative, timing, and cultural relevance shape what breaks through, and how far distribution can take it. That pace forged a bias for speed and story that still drives his work.
Outside his executive role, Kyle advises a curated group of founders and public-facing experts through Prolific Authority, his venture studio, designing the media, product, and monetization systems behind their businesses. He also speaks on building companies in a media-first economy, storytelling that commands attention, brand voice as market power, and executive character.
Kyle has been recognized by Crain's New York Business as a Notable Leader in Real Estate, and named an Inman Marketing All-Star and a HousingWire Marketing Leader in 2026. He serves on the Cornell University Council, a leadership body of alumni who advise and champion the university. He holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and a BS from Cornell University. He lives in New York City with his wife, Theresa, and their three children.
