Hi, I’m Kyle Scott
I’m an operations executive, business builder, and former network news producer
I build at the intersection of content and business.
I’m Kyle Scott, general manager for high growth creators at Thinkific, the leading software platform enabling entrepreneurs to create, market, sell, and deliver their own online courses and digital products. To date, nearly 900,000 creators have earned a collective $2 billion (and counting) on our platform. I am responsible for acquiring new high-potential creators to Thinkific while retaining and expanding revenue from our most successful customers by helping them become even more successful.
Prior to Thinkific, I co-founded with Ryan Serhant and led SERHANT. Ventures, a fast-growing subscription content-to-commerce business called Sell It. We offered courses, membership, coaching, speaking engagements, and events to tens of thousands of aspiring and experienced entrepreneurs around the world. I was responsible for the entire P&L and all business functions, including sales, marketing, product development, technology, fulfillment, and finance while managing a team of 35, 40% in-person and 60% remote.
Over the past six years, I’ve become an expert in creating, launching, and scaling digital products and services that generate millions in revenue and impact.
Prior to launching the SERHANT. Ventures business, I spent nearly 10 years as a producer and journalist at NBC News. I mastered the power of storytelling from the best in the business through evolving roles at TODAY, NBC Nightly News, NBC News Specials, and NBC News Digital. My capstone at NBC was launching and growing a new digital lifestyle vertical to over 1 million on-platform starts within its first year.
I enjoy helping entrepreneurs monetize their own thought leadership through mentorship and consulting. I speak at conferences about building subscription businesses and the power of storytelling for business growth.
In addition, I volunteer for my alma mater as a member of the Cornell University Council, mentor entrepreneurs with StartEd in NYC, and spend as much time as I can with my young sons William and Theo and my wife Theresa.
I earned my MBA at NYU Stern and a BS in Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University.
